EFFECTS OF MULTIPATH PROPAGATION CHANNEL IN TIGRIS RIVER

Tigris River is an environment of shallow waters because its low depth and it has been identified as a multi-path channel. The underwater propagation leads to reverberation well fading, which causes large transmission loss. present paper conducts 3 acoustic simulation outcomes in the district Abu Dali - Kazem Al Ali village beaches Baghdad Iraq. distance from sender receiver are (100m, 1000 m, 5000m). With use Ray model, results have shown that propagations dominate case where receiver, increased, resulted decreasing grazing angle, thereby, increasing coefficient reflection. consecutive path amplitude values will not be decreased quickly. This why differences time between different paths minimal. indicates path-ways converged with time, result inter- symbol interference phenomenon, playing role increase received data bit error rate.
